Soundz interview questions
1.
What inspired you to become a rapper?
I would call myself a lyricists or a poet.
I speak what’s on my mind, while using a hip hop beat. I also noticed there was
not a lot of male rappers that talk there mind so I saw the gap in the market
and filled it.
2.
What artists do you look up to the most and why?
I look up to Tupac Shakur, God rest his
soul as his lyrics just demonstrate so much intelligence and wisdom. I love his
music and even though he is dead he is still the best.
3.
What are the meanings behind your songs?
My songs come from the heart and the
society I live in. I never rap about things that are not true. I’m 100% real.
4.
What should we expect from your newest mixtape?
You will have to wait and see. Just a lot
of special collabs with ‘Nines’ and more come out of summer 2013.
5.
What do you feel is your biggest achievement so
far in terms of your life?
Keeping myself alive and healthy is my
biggest achievement life. It is not easy - especially in South London. It’s
survival of the fittest!
6.
What makes you different from other artists?
I’m real.
7.
Where can we find your music?
On the internet, there are old mixtapes on
several websites and YouTube as well.
8.
What do you with your spare time?
In my spare time I am making beats and write
lyrics. But when I’m not, I am in the gym. Keeping fit!! B***h you wasn’t wid
me shooting in the gym!
9.
How far do you want to go as a rapper in terms
of your music career?
I want to blow. I want to be BIG. I want to
do enough to get my family out of poverty!
10.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I see myself years sign to a good record

Front cover
For my front cover I made sure that my artist was looking directly at the camera with the conventional facial expression of a rapper.
I edited the photo on Photoshop to remove the background. I feel that this is the best image to use as my front cover for my magazine, as it fits the image of my flat plan.
